this is a linart and coloring I did based on a sketch I found on the internet (I don't remember where though)

I think that it was a concept for Fox from Adventures, it looks like Fox was going to be more knightly.
Tell me what you think

They're Dinosaur Planet concept art. Sabre and Krystal. Fox replaced Sabre (and most of Krystal's role, too) when Dinosaur Planet was converted into Star Fox Adventures.

...So I guess this isn't Fox then, should I change the title?

Indeed ... this is Sabre, who was going to be the Lupine (wolf) star of the original "Dinosaur Planet" for the N64, before it was retooled as a StarFox game on the GameCube.

(As an extra side note ... the original Krystal was feline, and not a fox/vixen)

There was also an elder Wolf character named Randorn who supposedly raised Krystal as an orphan child, while hiding in shame and despair after Sabres older brother died in combat. [The original story was much deeper than the nonsense they came up with for SF:Adventures]

I have concept art of Randorn, original N64 screenshots, a lost music track, and even a few videos from the original version if you are curious.. [They were actually all quite chibified in the game, in contrast to the more mature, exiting concept art]

Was Dinosaur planet actually released then? because I can't recall hearing about it before.
I am curious, where did you get the related materials; art, videos, a soundtrack!?

It was never released in it's original version on the N64 ...

... however, it got so very close that RARE inc. put a website about the game up on the internet, which included preview videos, concept art, and even some music samples. That is where all of this stuff came from.

When Nintendo convinced them to re-tool the game into a StarFox game for the GameCube with much better graphics, RARE pulled the website down, but thankfully many savvy gamers saved the artwork, videos and audio clips before they disappeared.

Almost all of it is downloadable on ArwingLanding [link]
